Full Job Description
Senior Director - Cloud Security

The Senior Director, Cloud Security will lead the growth, development, and delivery of 3Cloud's cloud security capabilities. This leader will be responsible for building a differentiated portfolio of Microsoft Azure infrastructure, cloud foundation, platform engineering, identity, networking, resiliency, and security services that enable enterprise cloud, data, application, and AI transformation.

The Senior Director will operate as both a market-facing practice leader and a senior client advisor. The role will work closely with 3Cloud sales and service-line leaders, Microsoft, and Cognizant account and delivery teams to identify demand, shape opportunities, develop solutions, and convert pipeline into bookings and revenue.

This individual will be accountable for capability strategy, go-to-market execution, solution quality, delivery oversight, talent development, financial performance, and cross-service-line pull-through. The successful candidate will combine strong commercial instincts, executive consulting presence, Microsoft Azure expertise, and the ability to build and scale a high-performing team. This role reports to the 3Cloud CTI (Cloud Technology Insights) leader.

Responsibilities

• Build a qualified pipeline that supports bookings, revenue, margin, and pull-through objectives.
• Develop trusted relationships with Microsoft, Cognizant, strategic clients, and executive stakeholders.
• Lead executive discussions with CIOs, CISOs, CTOs, and infrastructure leaders on cloud security strategy and transformation.
• Position Cloud Security as a foundational capability supporting enterprise cloud, AI, data, and application modernization initiatives.

Offering and Solution Leadership
• Develop and evolve a portfolio of repeatable Cloud Security offerings, methodologies, accelerators, and reference architectures.
• Lead complex solutioning efforts, including discovery, architecture, estimation, proposals, pricing, and executive presentations.
• Ensure solutions are technically sound, commercially viable, appropriately governed, and aligned with client outcomes.
• Translate Microsoft roadmap investments, emerging technologies, and market trends into new services and growth opportunities.

Delivery and Client Success
• Provide executive oversight for strategic and high-risk engagements.
• Establish standards for architecture governance, delivery quality, security, resiliency, compliance, and operational readiness.
• Partner with delivery leadership to ensure projects achieve client outcomes, financial objectives, and contractual commitments.
• Capture reusable delivery assets, reference architectures, and client success stories that improve future engagements.

Practice and Talent Leadership
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team of architects, consultants, engineers, and technical leaders.
• Define organizational structure, competencies, career paths, and succession plans.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, technical excellence, and client-centric consulting.
• Partner across all 3Cloud service lines to deliver integrated client solutions and eliminate siloed capabilities.
• Balance onshore, offshore, partner, and managed delivery capacity to support scalable growth.

Financial and Operational Accountability
• Own pipeline, bookings, revenue, gross margin, utilization, and capability performance.
• Develop annual operating plans, investment priorities, hiring strategies, and capacity forecasts.
• Monitor business performance, market demand, offering profitability, and delivery health.
• Provide executive reporting and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements
• 15+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, consulting, systems integration, or related fields.
• 8+ years in formal, progressive leadership roles in consulting, architecture, engineering, or professional services organizations.
• Demonstrated success building or scaling cloud security, infrastructure, or platform engineering capabilities.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, cloud security, identity, networking, governance, automation, and platform operations.
• Experience leading enterprise cloud transformation, migration, or modernization programs.
• Proven success developing and selling consulting services while owning or influencing pipeline, bookings, and revenue.
• Strong executive communication and client advisory skills.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary consulting teams within a matrixed organization.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications
