Position Summary
NYU's Stern School of Business has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Director, Career Coaching on the Careers team. The Senior Director will lead the day-to-day operations and management of the Full-time MBA Careers team. They will develop and implement short- and long-term recommendations for strategies, policies, and innovative programs that ensure Stern students are positioned for success across a diverse range of industries. They will direct the strategic alignment and implementation of industry-specific coaching networks that enable students to receive personalized coaching from peers and alumni. The Senior Director will serve as a career coaching ambassador and cross-school partner with colleagues at NYU. They will direct and manage the delivery and operations of career coaching and programs for full-time MBA students, and develop and track metrics to understand the effectiveness of coaching programs. The Senior Director will provide individual coaching to students providing career development frameworks, resources, and strategic guidance that enables students to build multiple job search strategies aligned to their career goals.
Qualifications
The selected candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree (Master's degree or MBA preferred) and 7 + progressively responsible professional experience with career development, counseling, and recruitment, and budget and staff management or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to develop and direct career- and recruitment-related initiatives, including planning, marketing, and evaluating program services is required. Excellent presentation, networking, and verbal and written communication skills are also essential.
Additional Information
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $105,000 to USD $145,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
