Job Summary
The Sr. DevOps Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automation solutions supporting the deployment, configuration, operation, and recovery of critical Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure and applications. The role will transform traditional infrastructure management into a repeatable, secure, and automated delivery model using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Configuration as Code (CaC), and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles. The engineer will develop automation frameworks using Terraform, Ansible, HashiCorp Packer, Git, Vault, and Azure DevOps across Nutanix AHV, VMware, Linux, and Windows platforms. The role will also support infrastructure security, disaster recovery, observability, configuration management, and operational resilience initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure modules and deployments
• Build and support Ansible playbooks and configuration automation frameworks
• Create and maintain Oracle Linux and Windows golden images using HashiCorp Packer
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps
• Integrate HashiCorp Vault for secrets management and certificate handling
• Automate provisioning and configuration of Nutanix AHV and VMware environments
• Develop automated validation, recovery, and disaster recovery workflows
• Support observability solutions using Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Alertmanager
• Produce operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials
• Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, security, database, and application teams to implement secure-by-design infrastructure solutions
• Participate in architecture design, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and reliability improvement initiatives
• Develop reusable automation modules and standardized infrastructure configurations
• Implement version-controlled infrastructure and standardized server baselines
• Support automated validation and recovery testing to improve system resilience and recoverability
• Contribute to business continuity, disaster recovery readiness, auditability, and cybersecurity resilience initiatives
• Identify and address configuration drift through repeatable and automated infrastructure management practices
Required Qualifications
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation design
• Hands-on experience with Terraform
• Hands-on experience with Ansible
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices
• Experience with Git, DevOps workflows, and version control
• Experience with data center virtualization technologies, including Nutanix and VMware
• Strong experience with Linux environments, including Red Hat Linux and Oracle Linux
• Experience with Linux shell scripting
• Experience with Python scripting for automation
• Experience with HashiCorp Packer and creation of standardized server or golden images
• Experience with HashiCorp Vault for secrets management
• Experience with observability platforms such as Grafana and Prometheus
• Experience with logging and monitoring technologies such as Loki and Alertmanager
• Understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles
• Experience developing operational runbooks and technical documentation
• Experience supporting infrastructure deployment, configuration, recovery, and reliability initiatives
• Ability to collaborate effectively across infrastructure, operations, security, database, and application teams
