Full Job Description
This experienced Developer/Solution Architect will design and rapidly prototype advanced data-driven applications for government clients.

This role blends hands-on engineering with architectural leadership, requiring the ability to build end-to-end solutions that integrate large-scale data pipelines, AI/ML capabilities, and intuitive user-facing applications.You will work directly with stakeholders to translate complex operational and analytical needs into functional prototypes and production-ready systems across modern data platforms such as Palantir, Databricks, and AWS.

Duties inlcude but are not limited to:
• Architect and rapidly prototype full-stack solutions that integrate data ingestion, processing, machine learning, and visualization.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines for structured and unstructured data at high volume and velocity.
• Develop and deploy AI/ML models for predictive analytics, decision support, and automation.
• Build intuitive user interfaces and dashboards that communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Lead technical solution design across multiple platforms, ensuring interoperability and performance.
• Engage directly with government clients to gather requirements, present solutions, and iterate quickly.
• Ensure solutions align with security, compliance, and governance requirements (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in architecture, development, and deployment. What Success Looks Like

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
• 15+ years of experience in software development, data engineering, or solution architecture.
• Must have an active Interim Secret Clearance (or higher, such as Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI) to be considered for this role (requires U.S. citizenship)
• Strong experience building end-to-end data and application systems in production environments.
• Demonstrated ability to rapidly prototype and iterate on complex technical solutions.
• Experience working in client-facing roles, particularly within government or regulated environments.
• Understanding of government operations, mission systems, or public sector workflows.
• Exprience programming in modern language such as python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Ruby, and ect.
• Ability to go onsite 3-4 days a week in Alexandria, VA

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor Degree or higher
• Prior experience with Palantir Foundry in production environments
• Experience supporting federal agencies (DoD, DHS, Intelligence Community, or civilian agencies)
• Background in finance, economics, or operational analytics
• Experience with real-time or low-latency systems
• Exposure to graph-based data modeling or knowledge graphs

The expected salary range for this position is between $103,000 and $180,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).

Work location is subject to change based on client requirements.
