Job Title: Senior Developer

Purpose and Objective:

SAP Labs, LLC seeks a Senior Developer at our San Ramon, CA location to design, develop, and operate scalable, secure, and reliable enterprise applications that drive business success.

Expectations and Tasks:

The role ensures the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions through efficient coding, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to continuously optimize application performance, security, and user experience. Design scalable, secure, and high-performing applications, leveraging tools and programming paradigms to write clean, maintainable and efficient code, and conducting code reviews. Develop, test, deploy/deliver, and maintain applications that meet business objectives and user needs, leveraging tools and programming paradigms to write clean, maintainable, well documented and efficient code, and conducting code reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design and cloud operations) to define, design, and ship new features. Optimize and automate the software delivery process, including automated testing at multiple level to ensure that reliable software can be delivered frequently. Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance applications to optimize performance, security, and resolve customer issues including root cause analysis and preventive actions.

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must include three (3) years involving each of the following:

• Designing and Implementing REST APIs;

• JAVA and Spring Framework;

• .NET Framework;

• Database Systems in SQL;

• Unit testing and Automation frameworks;

• Data structures and algorithms;

• Docker based systems;

• Domain Knowledge and SAP SF Onboarding module;

• SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP HANA; and

• Working with cross-functional teams including product, design and cloud operations to define, design, and ship new product features.
