About the Job:

The Senior Designer position is responsible for driving design and concepts for socks including men's, women's, and children. This position will use exceptional design skills, knowledge of the current market and identifying trends to create innovative and commercially viable products from conception to production. The Senior Designer position is responsible for bringing design solutions to life which adhere to marketing strategies and business goals. This position is comfortable making decisions and working together on team in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do:
  • Create distinct vision for the brands identity through seasonal drops and expanding on the brands.
  • Lead multiple projects from conception to completion in accordance with deadlines.
  • Champion new ideas that will drive the creative presence of the brand forward.
  • Manage the creation of computer aided design (CAD) presentations for internal use market presentations.
  • Oversee resources, such as color, fabric, and trim to standardize look and appeal of offerings.
  • Manage lead time development partnering with Product Development and Packaging teams to maintain deliverables.
  • Design concepts based on merchandising plan, to answer specific use case.
  • Review prototypes
  • Responsible for communicating all necessary information for the technical packages.
  • Manage style input in web-based PLM.
  • Collaborate with internal/external teams: daily communication with overseas partners and internal Design, Production & Product Development departments.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned in support of the company needs and operations.

What You Bring:
  • College degree in fashion design or equivalent experience in related area and minimum of 4-5 years of design experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Design experience in socks, experience using PLM preferred.
  • High creativity and artistic abilities, an eye for color, texture and pattern with keen attention to detail and ability to visualize in three dimensions.
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy.
  • Proficient computer skills to include Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills as required for effective interpersonal communication and collaboration with design, sales team, and production.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external teams.
  • Excellent organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and workload seamlessly and follow-up.
  • Agility and openness to new opportunities and projects.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the company/department
