Job DescriptionU.S. Bank is seeking a Senior Data Modeler with requirements analysis and data design experience to contribute toward the success of our technology initiatives. Develops database models to meet business requirements. Defines data requirements and business rules. Performs physical data modeling. Implements and tests database design. Plans for collection method, data cleansing, and normalization of enterprise data to support decision-making and reporting. Ensures integrity of data, software, and hardware. Coordinates data models, dictionaries, and other database documentation across multiple applications. Partners with data transformation teams to ensure design is properly communicated. Develops policies and procedures related to development and support of new and ongoing systems.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
At least 8 years experience within a total information technology (IT) environment.
At least 5 years experience with the development and implementation of logical and physical data models.
At least 5 years experience with tools, facilities and techniques for managing and administering data.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Advanced expertise in SQL Server (on-prem) and experience modernizing legacy data platforms to cloud-based architectures
Hands-on experience building data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows using tools like Python, AWS Glue, or similar
Practical experience with AWS data services (S3, RDS/Aurora, Redshift) and designing scalable data lake or warehouse solutions
Proven ability to implement hybrid connectivity and data movement between on-prem SQL Server and AWS (e.g., replication, migration, synchronization)
Experience enabling Power BI reporting on cloud or hybrid data platforms with a focus on performance optimization
Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, and REST API development with experience supporting data-driven applications
Familiarity with DevOps and deployment practices, including CI/CD pipelines, automation, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)
Location expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $119,765.00 - $140,900.00
