Job Description Summary
The Senior Commercial Counsel provides legal advice and support to business leaders across the Supply Chain organization of GE Vernova's Power segment. We are looking for a business-minded attorney who works well with all levels of the organization and has a strong track record of advising clients on complex commercial agreements and strategy. You will work with other legal groups and cross-functional business teams to develop strategy, draft, and negotiate a wide variety of Supply Chain related agreements, support disputes and claims, develop and implement training, improve processes, and provide risk assessment and compliance support.

Provide legal advice and support to senior leaders on Supply Chain matters, which may include:
• Providing legal analysis and support for supply chain, procurement, logistics and customs transactions, including structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex domestic and international purchase contracts and software licenses
• Advising on contract interpretation, claims, and disputes
• Using Lean thinking to streamline processes and reduce cycle time, including developing standard templates and policies
• Identifying and advising on regional, portfolio, and transactional risks and how to mitigate them
• Leading projects that support business and supply chain initiatives
• Providing advice and counsel on antitrust/competition law, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, environmental and customs issues, and other regulations and compliance matters
• Developing and delivering training on legal, contract, and compliance matters
• Staying current on legal developments affecting supply chain activities
• Communicating across all levels of the organization and working cross-functionally to drive business priorities

Required Qualifications

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $176,300.00 and $293,800.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.

Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
