Senior Consultant

About the Job

As a Senior Consultant in GrowthFinder, you will help clients identify and prioritise opportunities for growth by connecting consumer understanding, evidence and commercial context. You will analyse information from multiple sources, apply segmentation and strategic frameworks, and turn complex findings into clear recommendations.

Working closely with Directors and Partners, you will manage project workstreams, contribute to client relationships and proposals, and support junior colleagues. Your work will help clients make confident decisions about where to play and how to grow, while strengthening the quality and impact of the wider Consulting team.

Job Goals
  • Analyse primary and secondary data to answer client questions and identify meaningful growth opportunities.
  • Apply segmentation and strategic frameworks to understand demand, evaluate opportunities and inform brand and portfolio decisions.
  • Manage project workstreams to agreed timelines, budgets and quality standards, maintaining clarity on responsibilities and progress.
  • Craft clear, evidence-led narratives that move from findings to implications, recommendations and practical action.
  • Build effective client relationships through thoughtful day-to-day engagement and a clear understanding of each client's commercial context.
  • Contribute well-structured thinking, relevant evidence and compelling content to proposals, pitches and wider business development activity.
  • Support junior colleagues by sharing expertise, setting clear expectations and providing actionable feedback


Ideal Skills & Capabilities
  • Experience applying strategic consulting, consumer strategy, customer strategy, market research or insight expertise to business growth questions.
  • Strong analytical capability, with the ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative information and evaluate options using evidence.
  • Understanding of segmentation or demand-space approaches and how they support growth, brand and portfolio decisions.
  • Ability to turn complex information into concise, actionable recommendations and presentations for senior client audiences.
  • Skill in planning and managing project workstreams, working through ambiguity and helping others deliver high-quality outcomes
