DescriptionRole SummaryThe Senior Compensation Analyst serves as the organization's primary compensation subject matter expert (SME), providing strategic consultation and guidance to operational leaders, HR leadership, and Talent Acquisition regarding compensation philosophy, pay practices, compensation governance, and workforce planning initiatives. .In collaboration with HR leadership, responsible for the design, analysis, implementation, and administration of compensation programs that support organizational objectives, workforce needs, and regulatory compliance. The incumbent provides consultative support to leaders and Human Resources partners regarding compensation practices, conducts complex compensation analyses, administers compensation programs, evaluates positions, and develops recommendations that support equitable, market-competitive pay practices in a highly regulated and unionized healthcare environment.
What You'll Do- Serves as lead analyst on complex compensation projects and may provide technical guidance, mentoring, and work direction to compensation analysts, HR partners, recruiters, and departmental leaders. Conduct complex compensation analyses, market pricing, salary benchmarking, pay equity reviews, and costing analyses to support compensation decisions and organizational objectives.
- Evaluate existing, revised, and newly created positions to determine appropriate job classification, salary grade placement, exemption status, and internal equity considerations..
- Serve as a compensation consultant to leaders, HR partners, and recruiters regarding job offers, promotions, transfers, reorganizations, retention strategies, and compensation-related matters. Provides consultation and recommendations to executive leadership regarding compensation strategy, organizational restructuring, market competitiveness, executive compensation, retention strategies, and labor-related compensation matters.
- Leads the design, development, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of compensation programs, salary structures, incentive plans, retention programs, and other pay initiatives to support organizational strategies.
- Support the development and maintenance of salary structures, pay ranges, job architecture, compensation guidelines, and compensation-related policies and procedures
- Conduct and participate in compensation surveys; analyze market trends and emerging compensation practices; prepare recommendations for leadership review.
- Develop compensation reports, dashboards, and analyses to support workforce planning, budgeting, compliance monitoring, and decision-making.
- Interpret and apply collective bargaining agreement provisions related to compensation and collaborate with union representatives and leadership as needed.
- Assist with compensation-related audits, regulatory compliance reviews, and documentation requirements.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required QualificationsEducation- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required. Master's degree preferred.
Experience- Five (5) to seven (7) years of progressive compensation, human resources analytics, finance, or related experience, including significant experience in market pricing, job evaluation, compensation administration, and compensation consulting.
- CCP, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or other relevant compensation or HR certification preferred.
- Experience in a healthcare, academic medical center, or highly unionized environment preferred

Pay & ScheduleThis is a full-time, exempt position. Salary range:
$67,482 - $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
