Full Job Description
A Day in the Life:

  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud solutions across both AWS and Azure environments.
  • Build and execute configuration policies using policy-as-code, scripting, and automation to promote secure and consistent cloud operations.
  • Establish and enforce cloud governance standards for access controls, approved regions and instance types, resource usage, and configuration compliance.
  • Configure logging, monitoring, and auditing capabilities to improve visibility and identify security or compliance risks.
  • Actively use AI tools, including Claude through our Anthropic partnership, to streamline tasks, improve the quality of your work, and share best practices with teammates while continuously seeking new ways to integrate AI into your everyday workflows
  • Use tools such as AWS Config and Azure Policy to assess cloud resources, detect configuration drift, and support remediation efforts.
  • Partner with security, infrastructure, and development teams to embed governance requirements into cloud deployment processes.
  • Investigate policy violations and misconfigured resources, determine root causes, and implement scalable corrective actions.
  • Continuously evaluate cloud environments and recommend improvements to security, resource management, automation, and operational efficiency.
