Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 yr DOE
Responsibilities- Analyze composites - Physical and chemical
- Operation/Familiarity of analytical equipment such as ICP/OES/MS, Powder Characterization Equipment
- Maintain the calibration of glassware, the instruments, and perform maintenance, cleaning, and checking of equipment
- Coordinating with the other technicians in the team to carry out work as per the planning schedule
- Manage verification and calibration of instruments.

This is a fast-paced environment, and we need someone who is proactive, self-motivated and a team player. The person for this role will be a specialist in their field, respected by all who they work with, keen to learn and enthusiastic in the face of challenge. You will need :
- Associates degree or higher in Chemistry or equivalent, and/or at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Preferred 7+ years' experience in the testing field
- Ability to work in teams under pressure and flexible to work different working overtime hours, if required or necessary.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills and listening ability to communicate effectively with peers, superiors, customers and vendors.
- Knowledge and experience of safe operation of testing equipment and operating in an independent / chemistry / consultant laboratory.
