Full Job Description
SuperAwesome is seeking a Senior Campaign Manager to lead the delivery of our paid media campaigns. In this role, you will maintain a sharp focus on yield and performance, manage global delivery for our strategic customers, and take full end-to-end ownership of portfolio accounts. For the latter, you will translate client expectations into successfully project-managed campaigns, optimise in-flight performance, and adapt learnings for future tactics.

As a senior team member, you won't just manage campaigns; you will be a role model for accountability. We are looking for a strategist who spots performance-enhancing and revenue-generating opportunities, and a mentor who builds the team's collective intellectual capital. You are an expert in the programmatic ecosystem with an obsessive eye for detail and a drive to shape the future of our media performance strategy.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-End Setup & Launch Coordination
  • Kickoff & Setup Accountability: Own timelines and implementation strategies from kickoff to go-live. Oversee QA and the trafficking workflow executed by the team.
  • Asset & Creative Coordination: Gather client assets, communicate technical ad specs, enforce build timelines, and oversee thorough pre-launch testing.
  • Launch Comms: Own early-stage execution by sending direct launch updates to clients, providing immediate confidence in campaign stability.

Campaign Execution & Optimisation
  • Objective Management: Balance pacing, performance, and margins across a large, complex portfolio of campaigns.
  • In-Flight Optimisation: Conduct launch phase analysis and drive daily optimizations in platforms like Beeswax, Google Ads, and Roblox.
  • Commercial Acumen: Proactively spot and exploit revenue-generating, margin-enhancing, and expansion opportunities to increase the value of our kid-safe marketplace.

Reporting, Troubleshooting & Strategic Impact
  • Troubleshooting: Act as the first line of defense for campaign troubleshooting. Confidently handle internal escalations regarding tech bugs, discrepancies, or under-delivery.
  • Reporting & Wrap-up: Own internal weekly reporting (surfacing pacing KPIs and observations) and ensure accurate confirmation of delivery at the end of the campaign.
  • Continuous Improvement: Feed campaign learnings into future strategies. Make data-backed business cases for workflow improvements that have the greatest strategic impact.

Leadership & Mentorship
  • Role Model Accountability: Act as a standard-bearer for the Campaign Management team. Raise the performance bar, mentor junior team members, and ensure daily efforts map directly to SuperAwesome's broader strategic priorities.
  • Problem Solving & Innovation: Identify operational inefficiencies, recurring issues, and workflow gaps before they escalate. Drive improvements in how the team operates by embracing automation, AI tools, and smarter ways of working to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
  • Drive & Energy: Achieve results at pace, tackling complex operational challenges in a responsive, agile, and constructive way.

Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years in programmatic media buying, or campaign management, ideally within an agency or managed-service ad tech environment.
  • Programmatic Proficiency: Deep, hands-on experience driving optimizations within major DSPs (e.g., DV360, The Trade Desk, Beeswax, or Google Ads).
  • Project & Client Management: Proven experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder timelines. Comfortable facing clients directly to gather assets, communicate technical specs, and send updates.
  • Technical Toolkit: Mastery of VAST/HTML5 formats, ad-serving technologies, and 3rd-party measurement vendors (e.g., DCM, Innovid, Moat, IAS).
  • Data Fluency: Highly analytical and proficient in Excel/Google Sheets. Ability to ingest complex data, act on pacing/margin KPIs, and logically troubleshoot technical setups.
  • Strategic Execution: You don't just follow steps; you ask why. You can see the "big picture" and translate daily operational actions into commercial success.

Benefits
  • 20 days holiday + 10 public holidays + Winter Break.
  • Family Leave including 20 weeks of fully paid leave for employees who are Primary Caregivers and 8 weeks of fully paid leave for employees who are Secondary Caregivers.
  • 30 day sabbatical for employees who have reached 7 years tenure.
  • Medical insurance through Aetna with 100% employer contribution to employee monthly premium plus $2,000 funded HSA. Also, up to 65% employer contribution for family plans.
  • Dental & Vision Plans through MetLife, fully funded for you and your family.
  • 401k with Vanguard with SA Safe Harbor contribution up to 4%.
