The Senior Business Analyst is a key team member who partners with business stakeholders, Product Owners, and cross-functional teams to identify, analyze, and document business requirements and recommend solutions that improve business processes, customer experiences, operational effectiveness, and organizational outcomes. The Senior Business Analyst supports strategic initiatives, technology implementations, process improvements, and new product development under the guidance of the Product Owner. Position Responsibilities:

Business analysis and process improvement

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements, objectives, and outcomes with stakeholders
• Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, process flows, and business rules
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for process improvements, operational efficiencies, and enhanced customer experiences
• Support the assessment and evaluation of business problems and recommend practical solutions aligned with strategic objectives
• Develop and maintain business requirement documents, workflows, process maps, use cases, and functional specifications
• Document current-state and future-state business processes to support change initiatives and system enhancements
• Identify impacts of proposed changes on people, processes, policies, systems, and reporting
• Support the development and implementation of new processes, products, and business capabilities
• Facilitate requirements workshops, discovery sessions, and stakeholder interviews to gather and validate requirements
• Assist in the definition of business acceptance criteria and success measures for initiatives
• Support business readiness activities and contribute to the development of business procedures and operational documentation
• Identify risks, dependencies, assumptions, and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle
• Monitor and evaluate implemented solutions to ensure business objectives and expected benefits are achieved

Communication

• Provide effective communication with business unit management as well as business partners across Information Technology, Operations, Product & Marketing, Sales & Distribution, Compliance, Risk, and other functional teams
• Prepare and deliver clear, concise, and professional documentation, recommendations, presentations, and status updates for stakeholders at all levels
• Facilitate discussions to build alignment, resolve issues, and support informed decision-making
• Communicate complex business concepts and project impacts in a manner that is understandable to both technical and non-technical audiences
  

Collaborate with business and technical partners

• Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand business challenges, goals, and operational needs
• Conduct interviews, workshops, and collaborative sessions with business and subject matter experts to identify and communicate requirements
• Partner with Product Owners, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Quality Assurance teams, and technology teams to ensure business requirements are fully understood and implemented
• Support the development of user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, test scenarios, and business validation activities
• Coordinate and participate in testing activities to ensure solutions meet business requirements and expectations
• Support change management, training, and implementation activities to facilitate successful adoption of new processes and solutions
• Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle

Required Qualifications:

• University degree or equivalent business experience
• More than 5 years of business analysis, process improvement, and/or project delivery experience
• Demonstrated experience gathering, documenting, and managing business requirements throughout the project lifecycle
• Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies, process mapping, workflow design, and requirements management practices
• Ability to handle multiple demands and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management
• Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across business and technology teams
• Experience facilitating workshops, interviews, and requirements gathering sessions with diverse stakeholder groups
• Ability to create business process maps, user stories, use cases, functional requirements, and business documentation
• Experience supporting user acceptance testing, business readiness, and implementation activities
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Experience working on technology-enabled business transformation, process improvement, or product initiatives
