Position Overview

As a Senior Business Analytics Consultant within PNC's Retail Tech organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX or Birmingham, AL.

The Senior Business Analytics Consultant serves as a key liaison between business stakeholders, technology teams, and operational partners to support application enhancements, production support, and release management activities. This role is responsible for analyzing business processes and data, documenting requirements, coordinating testing efforts, managing change activities, and ensuring successful deployment of application updates. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to collaborate effectively across multiple teams to drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
Analyze and understand application data, business processes, and system functionality to support operational and strategic initiatives.
Create and maintain user stories, business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documentation.
Coordinate and manage testing activities, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and validation of results.
Execute testing activities as needed to support project timelines and release schedules.
Create and manage change records through ServiceNow to ensure compliance with change management procedures.
Coordinate release activities and prepare release documentation for production deployments.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and deep-dive sessions to address business requests, identify solutions, and resolve production issues.
Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, communicate project status, and support issue resolution.
Monitor production issues and collaborate with stakeholders to identify root causes and recommend solutions.
Ensure project deliverables, documentation, and testing activities align with organizational standards and best practices.

Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in Business Analysis, Business Analytics, Project Coordination, or a related role.
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience working with Jira for requirements management, user stories, defect tracking, and project coordination.
Hands-on experience with software testing, including test planning, test execution, and defect management.
Ability to write clear and comprehensive business requirements, technical specifications, and process documentation.
Knowledge of change management processes and experience utilizing ServiceNow for change record management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to understand complex data and application functionality.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to build effective partnerships and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting application releases and production support activities.
Understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
Experience facilitating stakeholder meetings and requirements workshops.
Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence concepts.

  • Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
  • Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
  • Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solutions for business leadership to enable data driven decision making.
  • Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $60,000.00 - $150,000.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
