Full Job Description
We9re hiring a Senior Brand Lead (B2B) to help scale Reddit9s B2B marketing engine. As part of the Business Marketing team, you9ll develop and execute programs that build Reddit9s B2B brand, increase consideration among advertisers, and create incremental media value through B2B2C partnerships.

This is a building role: you9ll create the roadmap, operating model, and cross-functional alignment needed to turn promising opportunities into repeatable programs. You9ll shape integrated campaigns, creative development, and partnership programs that strengthen Reddit9s relevance and increase consideration among business audiences.

An ideal candidate is a well-rounded builder who is equal parts strategist and operator. You bring structure to ambiguity, create the processes needed to move emerging ideas forward, and make thoughtful trade-offs about where to focus. You are scrappy, highly collaborative, and able to build compelling cases for investment and scale.

Location: NYC Preferred

Responsibilities:
  • Build B2B brand & consideration programs that increase awareness, strengthen preference, and make Reddit more relevant with advertisers.
  • Evaluate and develop B2B2C partnerships, prioritizing those with the strongest strategic fit, audience value, and potential to scale.
  • Build the operating model for emerging programs, working with Sales, Consumer, Product Marketing, and other teams to put the processes and support in place to scale new initiatives.
  • Define how success is measured, using brand metrics alongside business outcomes such as revenue to improve the work and guide future investment.
  • Develop compelling investment cases for new initiatives, articulating the strategic rationale, expected impact, resource requirements, and path to scale.
  • Strengthen Reddit9s corporate and business reputation by partnering with Comms, Investor Relations, and Sales to translate high-visibility moments into clear messaging
  • Support international markets by providing guidance, frameworks, and campaign assets that can be adapted and scaled globally.

Qualifications:
  • At minimum 7, but ideally 10+ years of progressive relevant experience in 2 or more of the following areas:
    • In-house at a consumer app tech company
    • Advertising agency
    • B2B brand with a strong growth story
  • Builder mindset and comfort operating in ambiguity; able to create structure, momentum, and repeatable processes where they do not yet exist.
  • Strong strategic judgment, with experience evaluating opportunities, making trade-offs, and building compelling cases for investment.
  • Exceptional creative judgment and experience developing positioning, messaging, and briefs that inspire distinctive, effective work.
  • Demonstrated experience with co-marketing, partnerships, or advertiser- and agency-facing programs
  • Familiarity with (and enthusiasm for) Reddit and internet culture

Benefits:
  • Comprehensive Health benefits
  • 401k Matching
  • Workspace benefits for your home office
  • Personal & Professional development funds
  • Family Planning Support

About Reddit

Reddit is an American social news aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website. Registered members submit content to the site such as links, text posts, images, and videos, which are then voted up or down by other members. Posts are organized by subject into user-created boards called "communities" or "subreddits", which cover topics such as news, politics, religion, science, movies, video games, music, books, sports, fitness, cooking, pets, and image-sharing. Submissions with more upvotes appear towards the top of their subreddit and, if they receive enough upvotes, ultimately on the site's front page. Although there are strict rules prohibiting harassment, it still occurs, and Reddit administrators moderate the communities and close or restrict them on occasion. Moderation is also conducted by community-specific moderators, who are not considered Reddit employees. As of September 2021, Reddit ranks as the 19th-most-visited website in the world and 7th most-visited website in the U.S., according to Alexa Internet. About 42–49.3% of its user base comes from the United States, followed by the United Kingdom at 7.9–8.2% and Canada at 5.2–7.8%. Twenty-two percent of U.S. adults aged 18 to 29 years, and 14 percent of U.S. adults aged 30 to 49 years, regularly use Reddit. Reddit was founded by University of Virginia roommates Steve Huffman and Alexis Ohanian, with Aaron Swartz, in 2005. Condé Nast Publications acquired the site in October 2006. In 2011, Reddit became an independent subsidiary of Condé Nast's parent company, Advance Publications. In October 2014, Reddit raised $50 million in a funding round led by Sam Altman and including investors Marc Andreessen, Peter Thiel, Ron Conway, Snoop Dogg, and Jared Leto. Their investment valued the company at $500 million then. In July 2017, Reddit raised $200 million for a $1.8 billion valuation, with Advance Publications remaining the majority stakeholder. In February 2019, a $300 million funding round led by Tencent brought the company's valuation to $3 billion. In August 2021, a $700 million funding round led by Fidelity Investments raised that valuation to over $10 billion.
