Key Responsibilities- Maintain, support, and enhance a high-throughput, distributed, real-time transaction processing application written in C on the Linux platform, operating in a 24x7x365 production environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain a CI/CD framework to streamline application delivery.
- Isolate and reproduce application defects effectively, ensuring clear conditions for debugging.
- Leverage production data to validate system performance and reliability.
- Provide tactical and technical support across tasks, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Assess impact on adjacent systems and evaluate both short- and long-term implications of technical decisions.
- Develop tools and infrastructure to test complex, large-scale distributed systems.
- Build tooling and infrastructure to help engineering teams measure and increase delivery velocity.
- Ensure delivery of high-quality code that meets specifications and customer requirements.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve daily work processes and system efficiency.
- Act as a technical/functional point of contact for projects or subsets of internal business systems.
- Coach and mentor team members on application, platform, and architectural standards.
