Mercer

Description:

As part of the Career Service Delivery Hub, this role sits at the intersection of partner management and client delivery, with a mandate to drive innovation in how we deliver pay equity and workforce analytics at scale. The Senior Associate owns the operational relationship with our Syndio partnership, builds the enablement that allows our consultants to deliver Syndio-powered work directly, leads end-to-end delivery for mid-market clients, and helps productize analytics solutions the practice can scale. The role is a force multiplier: freeing up specialized data science capacity, extending our reach into the mid-market, and turning one-off analytics engagements into repeatable offerings.

Key Responsibilities

Partner management & consultant enablement

  • Manage the delivery partnership with Syndio end to end - including delivery standards, escalation, capacity coordination, and ongoing relationship health.

  • Build and drive consultant enablement in the Syndio platform, starting with workforce analytics and pay equity consultants and expanding to Rewards consultants, with the explicit goal of freeing up data scientists from routine delivery.

  • Develop the enablement assets, training, and quality guardrails that let consultants deliver Syndio-powered work confidently and consistently.

Client delivery & sales support Senior Associate - Delivery Enablement, Pay Equity & Workforce Analytics

  • Own end-to-end delivery for mid-market pay equity and workforce analytics engagements, scaling into staff augmentation as that portfolio grows.

  • Contribute to delivery support to larger, more bespoke consulting engagements - flexing capacity to where the practice needs it.

  • Provide technical sales support for the mid-market segment as the subject-matter expert for sales partners, including client-facing components: demoing our expertise, answering technical client questions, and supporting scoping and feasibility conversations.

Scaling & innovation

  • "Productize" additional analytics solutions the practice can scale - defining the offering, delivery model, and supporting assets - taking analytics solutions from concept to repeatable offering.

  • Identify and pilot improvements to how the Hub delivers across pay equity and workforce analytics, contributing to the Hub's broader innovation and efficiency agenda.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in pay equity, workforce analytics, rewards, or a closely related HR/people-analytics field.

  • Hands-on experience delivering through analytics platforms (Syndio experience strongly preferred), including working alongside platform sales teams in a technical/SME capacity.

  • Demonstrated product / solution development experience - taking an analytics solution from concept to a repeatable, scalable deliverable.

  • Track record of end-to-end client delivery, ideally including mid-market and/or staff augmentation models.

  • Comfort partnering with data scientists and technical specialists, and translating their work into consultant- and client-ready deliverables.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong delivery and program management instincts; able to run engagements and a partner relationship simultaneously.

  • Consultative communication; credible with both internal consultants and client/sales audiences.

  • Bias toward standardization, enablement, and scale rather than bespoke one-off work.

  • Comfort with ambiguity in a newly launched partnership and a developing portfolio.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $129,600 to $259,200.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

We are excited to offer a competitive total rewards package which includes health and welfare benefits, tuition assistance, 401K savings and other retirement programs as well as employee assistance programs.
