The Opportunity:

Your role will include, but isn't limited to:

  • Support the development of enterprise cybersecurity strategies aligned to business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct cybersecurity maturity assessments, benchmarking exercises, and capability gap analyses.
  • Assist in designing cybersecurity operating models, governance structures, and organizational frameworks.
  • Develop transformation roadmaps and implementation plans to enhance cybersecurity capabilities.
  • Analyze and interpret cybersecurity frameworks, standards, and industry best practices, including NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and other leading frameworks.
  • Support the development of executive-level presentations, strategic recommendations, and board-ready reporting materials.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to translate cybersecurity requirements into actionable transformation initiatives.
  • Support clients through cybersecurity program implementations, organizational change initiatives, and capability development efforts.
  • Contribute to business development activities, proposals, statements of work, and thought leadership content.
  • Mentor Associates and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team environment.
  • Stay current with emerging cyber threats, regulatory developments, and industry trends affecting cybersecurity strategy and transformation.


What You'll Bring:

Your skills, knowledge, and experiences are what set you apart. Here's what we look for:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
  • 3-6 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, technology risk, cyber strategy, digital transformation, governance, or risk management.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk management, operating models, and transformation methodologies.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and standards including: NIST Cybersecurity Framework ISO 27001/27002 CIS Critical Security Controls
  • Leading regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex business and cybersecurity challenges.
  • Experience developing presentations, reports, and executive communications.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver high-quality client outcomes.
  • One or more relevant certifications: CISSP, CISA, CRISC, CISM, Security+
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity operating model, governance, or transformation initiatives.
  • Previous consulting, advisory, or professional services experience.
  • Familiarity with organizational change management and large-scale transformation programs

The salary range for this position is $84,700 - $134,700. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation.
