Responsibilities- Manage a team in producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings.
- Manage a group of architectural staff, leading project meetings, and coordinating all other building disciplines on multi-disciplinary projects.
- Perform internal reviews and quality checks of the models and drawings to ensure compliance with BIM standards.
- Research materials, products and technologies required for the design and incorporate into the details, specification and other documents.
- Manage a team of consultants.
- Client communication.
- Provide technical and administrative oversight to ensure that both the internal and external client needs are met and that the projects are delivered within cost, quality and schedule targets.
- Manage the financial aspect of the project including planning, scheduling, forecasting and staffing and working with accounting to achieve the desired results.
- Travel to remote First Nation communities and work sites.
Qualifications- Registered architect in Ontario (OAA), or eligibility to be registered.
- 10+ years experience in a similar role.
- Familiarity with both Provincial and National related standards and codes.
- Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, AutoCAD software, Microsoft 365 environment and Bluebeam.
- Experience with Visualization software, and Adobe Creative Suite would be considered an asset.
- Experience or desire to work with Indigenous communities would be considered an asset.
CompensationAB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $110,600 - 146,500
MB & ON: $100,900 - 139,000
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $99,900 - 132,700
