As a Senior Analyst, SBS Products, you will play an important role in shaping the future of our Small Business Card portfolio. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who is equally comfortable analyzing data, developing product strategy, and leading cross-functional initiatives from concept through execution.
You will own key aspects of our Business Platinum, Business Gold Rewards, and broader SBS product portfolio, identifying opportunities to drive growth, strengthen competitive differentiation, and enhance the Cardmember experience. Working with Marketing, Servicing, Technology, Finance, Compliance, and other business partners, you will influence decisions, build alignment, and help bring new products, capabilities, and customer experiences to market.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, proactive, and confident operating in a dynamic environment. They see opportunities, take initiative without waiting for direction, and can independently lead complex projects while bringing stakeholders along for the journey.
Responsibilities
Strategy & Analytics:
• Support the development and execution of portfolio strategy including enhancements to products and capabilities, and the delivery of multi-year roadmaps.
• Identify growth opportunities through analysis of customer behaviour, market trends and competitive developments, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
• Present recommendations, insights and business cases to key stakeholders and leadership, influencing decisions through data-driven analysis and sound business judgment.
Product Management:
• Act as a steward of the SBS product portfolio by maintaining product rules, processes, documentation and operational frameworks that support effective product management and governance. Lead and support product initiatives from ideation through execution, working across stakeholders to deliver a seamless card member experience.
• Provide strategic direction and partner with our internal Marketing teams to develop initiatives that drive spend, engagement and support our product benefits and their utilization.
• Monitor product, enterprise and market developments to identify risks, opportunities and dependencies that may impact portfolio performance, customer experience or future product strategy. Review product-related marketing, customer-facing communications and disclosure materials to ensure accuracy, consistency and alignment with product intent and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
• University Degree with minimum 2-3 years of work experience in product management or marketing.
• Proven self-starter with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, drive results and champion a project from conception through implementation and evaluation.
• Strong communicator and collaborator with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders and influence across teams. Proven ability to analyze data, be detail-oriented, and demonstrate critical thinking, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
• Naturally curious and comfortable working in ambiguous and rapidly evolving environments.
• Highly proficient in MS Office suite (Powerpoint, Excel, Word, Visio).
