The Opportunity

In this role, you will shape how Grid Automation solutions are understood by leading industry research firms and the broader market. You will work at the intersection of technology, strategy, and market insight—translating complex grid software and platform capabilities into clear business value for external analysts and internal stakeholders. The work includes guiding major analyst evaluations, building evidence-based messaging, preparing executives for high-visibility briefings, and turning external feedback into practical input for product and go-to-market priorities. You will partner closely with engineering, product marketing, sales enablement, investor relations, and corporate strategy to help create a consistent external voice. Your contributions will support how digital grid technologies are positioned in a fast-changing energy landscape, where reliability, visibility, and modernization remain central to utility and infrastructure investments. This is a role for someone who enjoys combining market understanding, technical fluency, program management, and executive communication to help connect innovation in grid automation with measurable business outcomes.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Design and run a global analyst relations strategy that supports product commercialization and market expansion.
  • Build clear messaging frameworks, proof points, and evidence maps for Grid Automation offerings.
  • Manage participation in major analyst evaluations, including questionnaires, evidence collection, and briefing preparation.
  • Prepare senior leaders for analyst engagements and public-facing discussions through structured coaching and briefing support.
  • Turn analyst feedback, peer reviews, and competitive market insight into actionable input for product and go-to-market planning.
  • Manage analyst relations budgets, research firm contracts, advisory usage, and reprint planning for business value.
  • Partner across product marketing, public relations, sales enablement, investor relations, and corporate strategy to support a unified external message.
  • Define and report performance measures that connect analyst relations activity to market perception, pipeline progress, and product direction.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
  • Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Product Marketing, Market Research, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technology field.
  • 15+ years of experience in Analyst Relations, Corporate Strategy, or Technical Product Marketing within the B2B enterprise technology sector.
  • Background in B2B technology companies with a primary focus on enterprise software and SaaS.
  • Demonstrated success improving or sustaining placement in tier-1 analyst evaluations.
  • Comfortable working with complex technical architectures and translating technical detail into business value for executive audiences.
  • Experience managing large budgets and global research firm agreements, while collaborating effectively across matrixed teams.
