Position Summary

Department Description

Carlyle Global Credit's Operations team focuses on all Operational activities across the Global Credit Platform, including investment capture, investment funding, treasury management, portfolio compliance, and administrator oversight.

Position Summary

Carlyle is seeking an analyst to support our newly formed Asset Servicing and Reference Data Management team. The analyst will work closely with Operations teams, Investment Professionals, Fund Management, Technology and other key stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely capture of data across the various integrated technology platforms. This role will also be responsible for servicing a portfolio of broadly syndicated corporate loans, bonds, and equities, as well as asset-backed securities and other bespoke private credit products held across Carlyle's global credit platform. The Asset Servicing and Reference Data Management team is primarily focused on capturing and mastering reference data in MarkIt EDM and reviewing and processing key lifecycle transactions in Global Credit's Internal Book of Record (IBOR) housed within Broadridge Sentry. The team will also be responsible for working with technology leads to develop internal and external reconciliations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for processing key lifecycle transactions in Global Credit's Internal Book of Record (IBOR) including paydowns, PIKs, borrowings/draws, rate resets, interest payments, restructures, amendments, and other corporate actions.
  • Maintain issuer/asset level reference data setup and maintenance within internal systems and coordinating with external service providers.
  • Assist in strategic initiatives related to technology and enhancing operational integrity.
  • Heavily involved in the implementation of new technology and the ongoing maintenance of data in the technology.
  • Deliver golden source of Portfolio, Issuer and Asset Reference Data in Markit EDM.
  • Process the loan data administration feeds and manual data intervention.
  • Liaise with technology leaders to develop data integrations across the Global Credit platform.
  • Reconcile internal and external data within core system.
  • Communicate with administrators, trustees, agents, and internal partners/statekholders to address inquiries and coordinate the capture/distribution of notices.


Qualifications

Education & Certificates
  • Bachelor's Degree, required
  • Concentration in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or related discipline, strongly preferred

Professional Experience
  • 2-5 years of overall relevant experience, required
  • Experience in Financial Services, strongly preferred
  • Understanding of loan and debt governing documents, including Credit Agreements, Amendments, and Offering Memorandums a plus.
Competencies & Attributes
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Experience with third party systems such as Broadridge Sentry, MarkIt Loan Platforms, ClearPar, Bloomberg, Geneva, Access Fintech, and/or Versana is a plus
  • Operational experience with Loan Reference Data and account set-up; User Acceptance Testing (UAT) experience a plus.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows, data analysis, or reporting is a plus
  • Detail Oriented, Results Driven.
  • Self-starter with a strong willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong work ethic, honesty, integrity, and strong communication skills a must.


Benefits/Compensation

The compensation range for this role is specific to Washington, DC, and takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to the skill sets required/preferred; prior experience and training; licenses and/or certifications.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000.

In addition to the base salary, the hired professional will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package spanning retirement benefits, health insurance, life insurance and disability, paid time off, paid holidays, family planning benefits and various wellness programs. Additionally, the hired professional may also be eligible to participate in an annual discretionary incentive program, the award of which will be dependent on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
