The Products & Partnerships team within the International Card Services Centre of Excellence (COE) defines and scales the product and partnership strategy across 23 international markets. The team drives transformation and sustainable revenue growth across International Lending, Small Business Services, Cobrand, Corporate, and Card Member product portfolios by building differentiated capabilities, advancing strategic partnerships, and delivering premium customer experiences, all underpinned by strong governance and product risk excellence.

The ICS Lending Center of Excellence (COE) team vision is to ensure each customer has access to flexible payment options, relevant rewards, and the powerful backing of American Express.

The Lending Product & Activation team is responsible for driving revenue growth and portfolio performance across international markets through the development, enhancement, and scaling of digital lending products and customer experiences. The team works across a broad range of lending solutions and strategic initiatives, partnering closely with global and local stakeholders to deliver innovative and scalable capabilities. The team is organized into three Product families- Revolve Products (on card lending for credit cards & lending on charge), Instalment Lending, and our Strategy & Activation team that focuses on scaling the existing products and building tools and insights for local marketeers.

This Senior Analyst - International Instalment Lending role will support the execution of lending product initiatives and portfolio strategies across international markets. The role offers exposure to product strategy, cross-functional delivery, governance, partner management, and portfolio performance optimization in a dynamic global environment. This role requires strong collaboration and stakeholder management across multiple functions including Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Marketing, and international market teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a critical Third-Party Relationship (TLM) supporting the Business Loans portfolio (Canada, Australia), ensuring effective vendor oversight, issue resolution, and ongoing portfolio stability
  • Partner cross-functionally (Technology, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Marketing, Local Market) to execute installment lending initiatives & lead governances processes (i.e. New Product Approval)
  • Drive analysis and insights to inform the installment lending (incl. Plan It) roadmap, contributing to product enhancements, market expansions, product requirements, and feature prioritization for future launches and enhancements.
  • Support growth and performance of Consumer Loans portfolio in existing markets by partnering with local teams to monitor results, identify opportunities, and optimize customer engagement.
  • Support the execution and ongoing management of lending product initiatives across international markets
  • Identify and apply AI-enabled opportunities to enhance team efficiency & insights using tools like CustomGPTs, Copilot Researcher, etc.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in lending products and governance preferred but not required.
