Job Description

Reporting to the Director, CRS Systems, the incumbent acts as the functional specialist for the Radixx Central Reservation System (CRS) and its associated application ecosystem.

Working closely with business teams, IT teams, and external vendors, the incumbent analyzes business requirements, resolves operational issues, and contributes to the evolution of reservation and distribution solutions.

Leveraging a strong understanding of airline business processes, the incumbent assesses the impacts of system and process changes, recommends sustainable solutions, and supports their implementation. The role also involves data analysis, operational reporting, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Additionally, the incumbent contributes to the evolution of team practices by identifying opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence and automation to improve user support, data analysis, documentation, and overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
  • Assess the impact of changes on processes, data, and systems.
  • Identify, pilot, and evaluate use cases for artificial intelligence and automation to improve user support, data analysis, documentation, and process efficiency, while supporting their integration into team practices.
  • Provide advanced functional support for issues related to reservations, transactions, and interactions with connected systems.
  • Troubleshoot incidents, recommend sustainable solutions, and coordinate resolution efforts with technical teams and external vendors.
  • Participate in the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of the CRS and related systems.
  • Prepare and execute functional and regression testing.
  • Use SQL to analyze data, support troubleshooting activities, and produce operational reports.
  • Facilitate communication and mutual understanding between business and technical teams.
  • Document solutions and contribute to knowledge sharing and knowledge transfer within the team.


Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the airline industry
  • Bachelor's degree or university diploma in Information Technology, Travel and Tourism, or a related field.
  • Experience with a CRS, PSS, GDS, or DCS platform.
  • Strong understanding of airline reservation, pricing, inventory management, and distribution processes.
  • Experience in functional analysis or application support.
  • Strong SQL knowledge for data analysis and extraction purposes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, in both French and English

Assets
  • Knowledge of airline industry standards and messaging formats, including IATA, AIRIMP, TTY, and EDIFACT.
  • Experience with Radixx Res or other reservation systems such as Sabre, Amadeus, or Altéa.
  • Knowledge of GDS, NDC, interline processes, or codeshare operations.
  • Understanding of revenue management, airport operations tools, or contact center operations.
  • Experience with API integrations.
  • Experience with generative AI, digital assistants, or automation solutions applied to customer support, analytics, or knowledge management.


Additional Information

*A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec and internationally.
