This role is based at our corporate office in Memphis, TN

This is your chance to be part of a Finance Team that is a critical Finance Team that manages all global activities related to financial performance, accounting, tax, forecasting, risk management, and asset management. As a Senior Analyst, Corporate Accounting on the Corporate Receivables team reporting to Corporate Accounting Manager, you will focus on analysis, reporting, and reconciliations. You will also interpret legal agreements and apply current accounting policies, when entering accounting entries and preparing reports.

What you'll do during a day:
  • Complete month end accounting close including preparing journal entries, billing requests, compiling reports, and creating queries or excel reports for analyzing data.
  • Conduct analysis of financial performance identifying trends and drivers that affect the Balance Sheet and P&L.
  • Partner with auditors (internal and external) and technical accounting department to understand proper accounting treatment of complex financial transactions

How you'll collaborate with others:
  • Partner with auditors and internal departments to resolve issues identified while analyzing data and to respond to information requests.
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers to ensure all necessary information is reviewed for journal entries, client billings, and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

You'll take ownership of:
  • Revenue recognition processes including forecasting and analysis
  • Notes receivable reconciliation, tracking and reporting
What It Takes to Make the Stay

You have these minimum qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of professional accounting experience
  • Experience applying the principles and practical applications of GAAP
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and v-lookups)

It would be useful if you have:
  • BA/BS Bachelor's Degree or MA/MS Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience with PeopleSoft and Hyperion Financial Management

Hilton offers its eligible team members a comprehensive benefits package to support their mental and physical well-being, so they can Thrive personally and professionally. The pay range for this role is $67,500 - $95,000 and is determined based on applicable and specialized experience and location. Subject to plan terms and conditions, you will be eligible to participate in the Hilton Annual Incentive (Bonus) Plan, consistent with other team members at the same level and/or position within the Company.
