The Generative AI Engineering team is seeking a Senior Engineer to drive the automation and scaling of core AI infrastructure. This role focuses on architecting resilient pipelines to handle large-scale datasets and optimizing containerized workloads for machine learning models. The ideal candidate will eliminate operational bottlenecks by implementing infrastructure as code and driving the seamless deployment of serverless architectures. By bridging the gap between infrastructure efficiency and AI model orchestration, this position accelerates the delivery of high-impact AI products across the organization.

What Success Looks Like (Objectives):

• Develop and maintain Python-based automation and orchestration scripts for AI workflows to streamline model training and inference cycles
• Implement highly scalable serverless architectures using AWS Lambda and manage containerized workloads on EKS to support dynamic AI applications
• Maintain platform availability and actively contribute to reducing Mean Time to Restore (MTTR) through proactive automation and monitoring solutions
• Collaborate closely with QA and Product teams to ensure infrastructure and deployed features meet strict quality and functional requirements
• Demonstrate extreme ownership of code quality, performance metrics, and the overall operational health of production environments

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Core Skills and Competencies (What you'll bring):

• Strong proficiency in Python development alongside critical experience building and scaling AWS cloud infrastructure and API-first integration patterns
• Critical experience managing object storage solutions for massive datasets and machine learning models
• Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern DevOps practices combined with Infrastructure as Code implementation using Terraform
• AI literacy and application skills, specifically including experience using modern AI coding tools like Claude Code or Amazon Q to accelerate development
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while proactively solving complex problems and mentoring junior or mid-level engineers
• Clear communication of technical concepts and strong collaboration skills within a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum Experience: 4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Software Development
• Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 3 years of experience with:
• Python scripting and automation
• AWS cloud infrastructure (Lambda, EKS, and S3)
• Terraform for Infrastructure as Code

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $96,250.00/Year - $150,000.00/Year
