Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience with strong Python expertise and solid software engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience building model-based and agentic systems in production environments.
• Proven ability to evaluate AI systems responsibly using defined quality criteria and evaluation frameworks.
• Data-driven approach to prompt and context engineering for measurable improvements.
• Strong understanding of AI models, making decisions on providers and architectural needs for reliability and quality.
• Knowledge of MCP tool protocols and agentic environments, with focus on security implications.
• Experience using AI coding agents with an emphasis on software correctness and maintainability.
• Deep understanding of AI failure modes and effective strategies for mitigation.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build capabilities for TeamViewer Tia and the Agentic Ecosystem, including orchestration and multi-step task execution.
• Define quality evaluation criteria and use results to inform decision-making on releases.
• Engineer model context through advanced strategies like retrieval and prompt assembly.
• Iterate systematically on prompts and design to improve AI quality.
• Manage AI capabilities in production, addressing latency and quality drift.
• Collaborate with product management and security teams to deliver secure AI features.
• Apply fine-tuning techniques based on evaluation evidence and model performance.
• Maintain a strong engineering context and tooling for the team's workflow.
