Full Job Description
About the role

As a Senior Agent Operations Associate, you will work at the forefront of applied AI, turning rapidly evolving models into reliable systems that handle real healthcare workflows at scale.

You will own problems end to end: understand how customer workflows operate, translate requirements into agent behavior, investigate performance in data, diagnose production issues, and decide where automation can safely replace manual work. You will partner closely with Customer Strategy, Operations, and Engineering to build, launch, and improve agent workflows. You will also work directly with customers during workflow discovery, triage, launches, and production troubleshooting.

This is a high-learning, high-ownership role. You will build deep intuition across AI systems, healthcare operations, and production workflows while helping define how Agent Operations should work as Valerie scales.
What you'll do
  • Build implementations: Lead the build workstream for document-agent implementations, from workflow design and configuration through testing, launch readiness, and post-launch performance. Partner with Customer Strategy, which owns the overall customer implementation, to ensure the build meets customer requirements and timelines.
  • Design and improve workflows: Translate complex customer processes into reliable automated workflows, including document intake, interpretation, routing, downstream actions, and human-in-the-loop paths.
  • Own production performance: Build reporting, diagnose workflow performance, and prioritize improvements based on customer impact, operational effort, automation outcomes, quality, and SLA performance.
  • Increase automation: Identify why tasks require human review or manual fallback; develop, test, and monitor improvements that move work toward automated completion without compromising quality or customer trust.
  • Build the operating system: Turn successful implementations and optimization approaches into repeatable processes, configurations, testing methods, and operating mechanisms that help the Agent Operations team scale.
About you

We expect candidates with 2-4 years of experience from backgrounds such as consulting, analytics, operations, technical implementation, product, or related roles. We care more about learning velocity, evidence of achievement, and ownership than a specific tenure range.

You may be a strong fit if:
  • You have independently owned complex operational, implementation, or technical projects from problem definition through measurable results.
  • You think in systems, understand how complex processes fit together, and use sound judgment to identify the highest-leverage problem to solve.
  • You combine analytical rigor with practical execution and want to own implementation and results, not only produce recommendations.
  • You have strong technical instincts and experience with, or the ability to quickly learn, tools such as SQL, logs, APIs, integrations, and agent configuration.
  • You communicate clearly with customers, operators, and engineers, and raise the bar for execution by bringing structure to ambiguous work and doing manual work when needed.

What We Offer
  • Build at the forefront of applied AI, with meaningful ownership and rapid learning in an AI-native, high-growth startup
  • Competitive salary, equity and benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) and flexible PTO
  • SF Office: Daily catered lunch and dinner reimbursement
