As a Senior Accounting Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering accurate financial reporting, ensuring strong compliance, and supporting key business decisions across the Canadian organization. Job Description

  • Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyze revenue deductions, rebates, chargebacks, and patient support program accruals and reserves.
  • Support compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), internal controls, and audit requirements.
  • Drive process improvements, automation opportunities, and system enhancements within financial operations.
  • Partner with Finance, Commercial, Pricing, and Operations teams to provide financial insights and guidance.


Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; Certified Professional Accountant designation preferred.
  • Experience supporting financial reporting, month-end close activities, and accrual accounting processes.
  • Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and accounting principles.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or enterprise resource planning systems and financial reporting tools.
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience performing reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial data reviews.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: French speaking and writing: advance English speaking and writing: advance

English language proficiency is required for this position due to the need to interact and participate in national and international meetings conducted in English and review scientific and strategic materials that are primarily available in English. These responsibilities are an essential part of the role and cannot be effectively performed solely in French

  • Exécuter les activités de clôture mensuelle, trimestrielle et annuelle tout en assurant l'exactitude des résultats financiers.
  • Préparer et réviser les écritures comptables, provisions, régularisations et rapprochements de bilan.
  • Analyser les déductions de revenus, remises, rabais et programmes de soutien aux patients.
  • Assurer la conformité aux Normes internationales d'information financière (IFRS), aux contrôles internes et aux exigences d'audit.
  • Contribuer aux initiatives d'amélioration continue, d'automatisation et d'optimisation des processus financiers.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes Finance, Commerciale, Prix et Accès ainsi qu'Opérations afin de fournir des analyses et recommandations financières.


Ce que vous contribuerez au poste

Essentiel:
  • Baccalauréat en comptabilité, finance ou dans un domaine connexe; titre de CPA complété ou en voie d'obtention constitue un atout.
  • Expérience en production de rapports financiers, activités de clôture financière et comptabilité d'exercice.
  • Solide connaissance des Normes internationales d'information financière (IFRS) et des principes comptables.
  • Expérience avec SAP S/4HANA ou d'autres systèmes de planification des ressources de l'entreprise et outils de reporting financier.
  • Excellentes compétences analytiques, incluant les rapprochements comptables, l'analyse des écarts et l'interprétation de données financières.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en communication, gestion des parties prenantes et résolution de problèmes dans un environnement dynamique.
  • Langues : français parlé et écrit : avancé; anglais parlé et écrit : avancé.


Souhaitable:

  • Expérience avec BlackLine ou un outil similaire de rapprochement et de gestion de la clôture financière.
  • Expérience dans l'industrie pharmaceutique, des soins de santé ou dans une organisation multinationale.

Bilinguisme (français et anglais, autant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit) requis pour assurer la collaboration avec différents intervenants à l'extérieur du Québec sur une base récurrente. La maîtrise de l'espagnol serait un atout.
