We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting team. In this key role, you will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of the Company, its subsidiaries and affiliates. The Senior Accountant will be an emerging leader who will support other staff members in their training and development, including reviewing their work for necessary corrections or revisions. The Senior Accountant will develop strong working relationships that will support effective communication and accuracy, with a focus on customer service and delivery due dates.

Compensation: $95,000 - 105,000 per year plus eligibility for annual bonus.

How you will make an impact
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements for management and investor audiences.
  • Prepare and review quarterly compliance deliverables, including financial statements, supporting schedules, and debt covenant calculations.
  • Develop and finalize audited financial statements, supporting the full audit process from draft to issuance.
  • Perform variance analyses, risk assessments, and ensure technical accuracy of financial disclosures in accordance with GAAP.
  • Manage the annual audit process.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of financial operations processes and internal controls.
  • Provide technical accounting research and assess the impact of new accounting pronouncements and/or company transactions.
  • Support documentation and evaluation of internal controls related to financial reporting and disclosures.


What you will need
  • Five (5) or more years of experience with a minimum of two (2) years working in public accounting as an auditor or consultant providing attest and/or financial reporting related services.
  • Experience applying US GAAP-based technical accounting standards.
  • Licensed CPA or a CPA candidate
  • Knowledge of assessing internal controls over financial reporting is a plus.
  • Previous experience with real estate development is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX or other general ledger system is a plus; experience with Workiva is a plus
