Senior Accountant
CSL Consulting is seeking an individual with strong accounting and organizational skills looking to work in a dynamic environment. This position will report to the Senior Director, Finance. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process, financial reporting, and maintaining the integrity of the company's general ledger. This individual will collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and senior leadership to ensure timely and accurate financial results. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in GAAP accounting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a growing and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for monthly, quarterly, and annual close cycles
- Perform detailed variance analysis and explain key drivers of financial results
- Ensure accuracy of general ledger, financial statements and reports.
- Support consolidation and intercompany accounting for entities.
- Assist in preparing financial statements in compliance with US GAAP for CSL, NMS, and external partners.
- Assist with compliance with IRS rules and state regulations as they relate to company filings.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting process & analysis.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to support audits and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Operations, Finance, Senior Leadership) to resolve accounting issues and support business initiatives
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP enhancements
- Maintain and enforce accounting policies and internal controls
- Manage monthly invoicing process - including future oversite of this function.
Additional responsibilities may include:
- Conduct regular status meetings and provide updates to Senior Leadership.
- From time to time the position may be required to attend certain trainings on software applications that the company is utilizing.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience required, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Accounting.
- Sage Intacct experience a plus
- Understanding of business analysis and GAAP.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with financial systems.
- Proficient in business analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Sage, Scoro, Power BI, or Tableau).
- Unquestionable integrity, individual will have access to sensitive information and discretion will be imperative.
- Must be well organized, flexible and able to manage multiple, challenging projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work setting.
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, including pushing, pulling, and grasping.
In Office Requirements:
- The position will be based out of Burlington, MA, may have
travel to other CSL locations as needed.
