Job Title: Senior Accountant

Pay: $110k - $120k base, plus bonus

Our software client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a corporate accounting team in Seattle. This position will oversee accounting activities involving prepaid expenses, accruals, intangible assets, and intercompany transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and an interest in leveraging automation and emerging technology to improve accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage prepaid expense accounting, including capitalization, amortization, reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting.
  • Coordinate intercompany transactions and assist with cross-entity billing and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain supporting schedules for accrued expenses and ensure account balances are properly documented.
  • Complete monthly close activities, including account analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, and variance reviews.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responses.
  • Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed.


Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a public company, SaaS/technology organization, or high-growth business.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting practices.
