About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Account Manager to join a medical affairs and publications team at Nucleus Global. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong scientific understanding with exceptional organizational and leadership skills, and who thrives on building strategic partnerships with clients. You'll work across therapy areas to develop and deliver high-quality scientific projects that communicate complex data with clarity and impact.

What You'll Be Doing

Your role will be central to managing and delivering impactful scientific publications that support our clients' communication objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Serving as the primary client contact, providing strategic counsel on medical affairs and publication planning, timelines, and best practices.
  • Lead the execution of medical affairs (advisory boards, slide decks, etc) and publications (manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and congress presentations) projects from planning through submission
  • Partnering with scientific, editorial, and project management teams to ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards of scientific accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
  • Leading internal teams to ensure smooth workflow, clear communication, and high-quality output across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Overseeing project financials, including budget management, SOW development, forecasting, and resource allocation.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for account growth and contributing to new business initiatives.
  • Ensuring all activities comply with Good Publication Practice (GPP) guidelines and relevant industry standards.


About You

To succeed in this role, you'll bring deep experience in medical communications with a focus on medical affairs and publications with a passion for excellence in scientific storytelling.

You will have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in life sciences (advanced degree preferred).
  • 4-6 years of experience in a medical communications agency, with significant exposure to medical affairs and publications planning and delivery.
  • Strong project and financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and SOW development.
  • A proven ability to manage complex publication programs and collaborate effectively with authors, clients, and cross-functional internal teams.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Working knowledge of Datavision and Veeva (a plus).

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. This range may differ based on your experience and skill set, geographic location, and cost of living considerations. Compensation

$90,000-$112,000 USD
