Senior Account Manager, Key Partners, North America

Introduction to the team

The Key Partners team manages high-value relationships with hotel partners across North America and the broader Americas region. In this senior role, you will own a portfolio of enterprise-level hotel chain, owner, and operator partnerships, engage senior executives, and use commercial judgment and data-driven insight to grow revenue and strengthen long-term relationships. This role offers flexibility in location requirements.

In this role, you will:
  • Own the commercial performance of an assigned portfolio of enterprise hotel chain, owner, and operator partners, including rate and inventory access, revenue growth, and share growth
  • Understand each partner's strategy and objectives, translate market trends into revenue-generating recommendations, and lead partnership reviews that turn data into clear actions
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for partners, building credibility with senior vice president and executive-level stakeholders as well as day-to-day operators through consistent communication and business reviews
  • Lead partnership agreement renewals and structure creative commercial frameworks for complex, multi-stakeholder accounts while balancing partner needs with Expedia Group's strategic goals
  • Coordinate with Market Management, Connectivity, Media Solutions, Analytics, Finance, and senior internal leaders to implement account plans, close gaps, and unlock opportunities
  • Deliver clear reporting for senior audiences, coach less senior Account Managers on complex negotiations, and share best practices that improve the broader Account Management team


Experience and qualifications:
  • You have a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience
  • You have 7+ years of experience in a commercial, account management, or partner-facing role, with demonstrated ownership of enterprise-level relationships; hospitality or travel technology experience is strongly preferred
  • You have a track record of negotiating and leading strategic partnerships with hotel owners, operators, and brand-level chain contacts
  • You are comfortable and credible engaging senior vice president and executive-level stakeholders, adapting your communication style for audiences ranging from front-line operators to senior decision-makers
  • You are entrepreneurial, resourceful, and comfortable solving ambiguous, high-stakes problems while using data, commercial judgment, and strong negotiation skills to structure creative solutions
  • You communicate clearly, manage multiple high-value accounts with minimal oversight, and are proficient with Microsoft Office and familiar with customer relationship management or reporting tools


The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $186,000.00 to $260,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $297,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.The total cash range for this position in Orlando is $186,000.00 to $260,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $297,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $200,000.00 to $280,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $320,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Dallas is $186,000.00 to $260,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $297,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
