Full Job Description

The role of Senior Account Manager will support client service across Red Flag’s growing U.S. and international client base. At Red Flag, Senior Account Managers are responsible for developing and executing government relations and communications plans, monitoring news and policy developments, analysing and researching client issues, and supporting account servicing teams in other ways, as assigned.

This is a full-time position based in Red Flag’s office in Washington D.C. with arrangements for hybrid working.

Your work responsibilities will include, but not be restricted to, the following:

● Maintaining awareness of and expertise in client priorities broadly, with a particular emphasis on any assigned portfolios. Specific portfolios may vary from time to time and may be thematic, geographic, or sector-specific in scope.

● Monitoring current events, political and economic developments, international organizations, and business news in order to alert colleagues and clients to challenges and opportunities of note.

● Contributing to drafting of the weekly International Issues Update (IIU) to ensure the IIU provides concise, compelling updates to clients on relevant U.S. and global developments impacting client priorities.

● Contributing to and producing other written reports and publications, as assigned.

● Providing speaker suggestions, liaising with client attendees and moderators, attending, and/or taking notes at meetings of the Washington International Business Council (WIBC).

● Providing professional services to WIBC and retainer clients, as assigned, with the highest standards for timeliness, professionalism, and accuracy in all client-facing work.
