Full Job Description
Are you passionate about turning complex acquisition data into meaningful insights that shape Navy decision-making? Strategic Insight is seeking a Program Analyst - Industry Engagement to support high-visibility programs across the Department of the Navy. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data analytics, federal procurement, and systems integration-and wants their work to directly influence Navy acquisition outcomes.

Mandatory: Applicants must have an active Interim Secret DoD clearance at a minimum, with final Secret preferred.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
      • Demonstrate ability to engage the defense industrial base across the following lines of effort-advanced manufacturing firms, energy/infrastructure providers, and non-traditional/private capital entities-to advance Naval Industrial Base objectives,
      • Maintain a central engagement repository and building/maintaining engagement dashboards using Navy IT tools (Advana, Jupiter, COSMOS portals), including workflow automation for the end-to-end engagement process and integration with enterprise metrics dashboards,
      • Conduct open-source research on companies, including the ability to interpret financial reports, press releases, and business documentation,
      • Manage complex, multi-stakeholder tasks and deliverables, and proficiency tracking and closing action items and taskers using DON platforms such as ETMS2,
      • Communicate effectively-in writing and in person-with senior DON leadership (FO/GO/SES) and external defense-industry partners, drafting pre-briefs, engagement summaries, and briefing materials,
      • Familiarity with the processes, requirements, and compliance standards for organizing and documenting industry engagements, ensuring content adheres to established standards,
      • Experience working in an Echelon 1 organization within the DON Secretariat, with Microsoft Office proficiency (especially SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the ability to perform under short, multiple deadlines, and
      • Other duties as assigned.


Education / Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required (accredited institution) in business, finance, economics, communications, public policy, or a related discipline; coursework or an advanced degree emphasizing strategic communications, event/program management, stakeholder engagement, or business analytics is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years managing industry engagement activities for DoW or DON, including coordinating with high-level stakeholders and organizing and documenting engagements in accordance with public and private sector best practices.
