Full Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Senior Account Executive at M+C Saatchi World Services in New York, you'll play a central role in delivering high-impact communications campaigns focused on social change and complex global issues.

Working closely with your Account Supervisor or Account Director, VP, you'll support the full lifecycle of integrated communications projects - from shaping briefs and presentations to overseeing production and delivery. You'll be a trusted "safe pair of hands," ensuring work is delivered to the highest quality, on time and within budget.

This is a role for someone confident and forward-leaning: comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, contributing to strategic discussions, and helping translate complex geopolitical and societal issues into clear, compelling communications.

What you'll do:

Own the delivery.
Oversee timelines, budgets, estimates, approvals, invoicing, and reconciliations. Manage production with minimal oversight, spotting risks, scope changes, and smarter ways of working.

Elevate the work.
Play an active role in shaping presentations and outputs. Help ensure every piece of work is on brief, insight-driven, and strategically sound.

Engage confidently with clients.
Present clearly and articulately. Lead constructive discussions around feedback, filter and debrief thoughtfully, and push back where appropriate in a clear and solutions-focused way.

Champion strategy.
Understand the broader strategic direction of your accounts and work closely with strategy and creative teams to shape briefs and outputs. Be confident discussing research, evaluation, audiences, and channel approaches.

Build strong relationships.
Develop trusted relationships with clients and cross-agency teams. Represent creative and strategy perspectives effectively, and demonstrate strong knowledge of relevant regions, sectors, and current affairs.

Contribute to agency life.
Support cross-agency collaboration, mentor more junior colleagues, and contribute positively to team culture. Take part in recruitment conversations and wider agency initiatives.

Manage up and down.
Escalate issues appropriately, act as a reliable point of contact for production and delivery, and provide day-to-day leadership so senior team members can rely on you with confidence.

ABOUT YOU

You'll have proven experience in a commercial communications role or similar environment, and be ready to step confidently into greater ownership and client exposure.

You're organised, articulate, strategically curious, and comfortable navigating high-profile, high-stakes projects. You take responsibility seriously - for the work, for the client relationship, and for the agency's reputation.

You'll bring:
  • Must be US citizen due to the involvement with government contracts and eligibility to obtain a US security clearance.
  • A degree in Politics, History, International Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting to senior stakeholders
  • A practical understanding of business operations and agency processes, with experience working with production
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • A strong interest in geopolitics and global affairs
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work independently

Bonus points if you have:
  • Spanish language skills (working knowledge or fluency)
