This is a n integrated communications role that combines account management, strategic communications, and digital engagement responsibilities for vaccine client work . This position supports the development and execution of integrated communications programs across channels, while serving as a day-to-day client contact and trusted team resource.
The ideal candidate has approximately 3 years of experience in public relations, healthcare communications, social media, digital marketing and is passionate about leveraging both traditional and digital communications strategies to drive measurable outcomes for vaccine brands.
This role requires an individual who can seamlessly move between client management, strategic planning, content development, social media strategy, influencer engagement, and campaign reporting
Key Responsibilities
Digital Communications & Social Strategy
- Support the development and execution of digital and social communications strategies for vaccine brands.
- Manage social content calendars and assist with channel planning and audience engagement strategies.
- Draft and review social media content, campaign assets, influencer materials, and digital communications.
- Conduct social listening and digital trend analysis to identify actionable insights.
- Support influencer and creator identification, vetting, engagement, and reporting for consumer and HCP campaigns .
- Partner with analytics teams to monitor campaign performance and translate findings into strategic recommendations.
- Assist in optimizing content and channel strategies based on audience engagement and campaign performance data.
Public Relations & Communications
- Develop written communications materials including messaging documents, FAQs, media materials, and stakeholder communications.
- Support media relations activities, monitoring, and reporting.
- Assist with communications planning around key healthcare awareness initiatives, meetings, and milestones.
- Ensure communications activities align with medical, legal, and regulatory requirements.
- S hare project updates with clients via email and on weekly calls; proactively offer and successfully implement new ideas and solutions to meet client needs and drive projects forward.
- Demonstrate curiosity and initiative to take on new responsibilities and develop multiple skills in a fast-paced, expanding agency environment.
- Act as a proactive, detail-oriented team player who is accountable, organized and adept at managing up and down to keep projects on track.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping review work, share best practices and support their professional development, and manage up to senior team members.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry and a bachelor's degree .
- Client relations expertise and familiarity with branded and unbranded pharmaceutical communications, ideally including celebrity or influencer partnerships in the pharmaceutical space and/or experience in supporting data and regulatory milestone communications.
- Strong understanding of both traditional PR and digital communications strategies.
- Exceptional writing, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneousl y.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Collaborative, self-starter with a strong work ethic, energized by being a member of a highly entrepreneurial work environment that rewards and fosters personal initiative , accountability and teamwork .
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $95,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
