Ready to join an industry leader in strong growth mode?

As a software engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides support directly to customers using our security-focused software products. Responsibilities include working as part of an agile development team to ideate Kubernetes related infrastructure and software solutions, designing and managing Kubernetes clusters, designing and developing RESTful services and APIs, and managing cloud-based functional databases. Other responsibilities include troubleshooting and debugging applications on the cluster as necessary, keeping current with industry trends and developments that can be applied to company needs, and writing technical documentation.
Technical Skills Required:
  • 2+ years Kubernetes Administration
  • Experience with K8s Provisioning, K8s APIs, Networking, Service Discovery, Routing, Backups, Monitoring, Alerting, Logging
  • Experience working with Stateless and Stateful workloads
  • Experience with Cron Jobs, Singletons, and DaemonSets
  • AWS proficiency (or Azure or GKE)
  • 2+ years PostgreSQL/MySQL or similar database
  • Linux proficiency
Bonus Experience:
  • Full-Stack RoR/Django, Javascript, CSS/HTML and general web principles
  • Responsive Web design (Frameworks like Bootstrap, etc.)
  • UX principles + design
  • REST API design / JSON
  • CI/CD
  • Security development principles - token management, encryption, certificates etc.
Requirements:
  • 4-year college degree
  • Effective and professional written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively, work independently and be self-motivated
  • Passion for quality and efficiency
  • Authorization to work in the United States without Visa Sponsorship
