  • Identify security risks and remediation requirements
  • Support security testing and deployment-readiness activities

Full Job Description
Kearney & Company is currently seeking a Security / ATO Lead to join our team supporting a major Department of the Navy financial management transformation. The ideal candidate will work within a cross-functional Kearney-led team implementing an enterprise OneStream-based budget formulation capability across multiple Navy Budget Submitting Offices.

Job Duties Include but Are Not Limited To:

  • Lead Contractor activities supporting the DON authorization/ATO process
  • Integrate security requirements into solution architecture and implementation planning
  • Coordinate security documentation and evidence
  • Support applicable NIST SP 800-53, DoD, Zero Trust, IL5, Section 508, cATO, and DevSecOps requirements
  • Maintain security dependencies and milestones within the IMS
  • Coordinate with Government security/authorization stakeholders
  • Identify security risks and remediation requirements
  • Support security testing and deployment-readiness activities
  • Advise the program on the future IL6/multi-domain roadmap

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of cybersecurity/security engineering experience
  • Demonstrated DoD RMF/ATO experience
  • Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and DoD cybersecurity requirements
  • Experience supporting cloud/SaaS authorization
  • Ability to be onsite 2-3 days a week in Alexandria, VA and Washington, DC
  • Must have an active Secret Clearance (or higher, such as Secret, Top Secret or TS/SCI) to be considered for this role (requires U.S. citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Navy ATO/RMF experience
  • IL5 cloud implementation experience
  • cATO/DevSecOps experience
  • CISSP, CISM, CAP/CGRC, Security+, or comparable certification

Overview

The expected salary range for this position is between $103,000 and $180,000. This range is representative of base pay only and does not include straight time pay for hours worked over 40 per week, company contributions towards paid benefits, and/or bonuses. Actual compensation (meeting or exceeding the range) will be determined based on specific experience, education, work location, clearance level, and other factors permitted by law. This position is eligible for bonuses (when applicable).
