Position Overview:Freddie Mac's SFPS Division is currently seeking a Securities Modeling Analyst, who will be responsible for cash flow modeling for Agency CMO transactions as a member of the Multiclass Securitization team. The team is responsible for executing Single Family structured securitization transactions to ensure soundness of structure and accuracy of disclosure to investors, and to facilitate bond administration. This group focuses on managing, informing, and influencing the investor base and expanding the company's securitization capabilities. This person will also help support business management activities and reporting for the Securitization department.
Our Impact:Securitization Department from Single Family Portfolio and Service Division is in charge of Single Class Pooling Policy & Analytics, and Multiclass/CMO deal issuance and analysis.
Your Impact:- Actively participate in transaction handling for Single Family loan backed structural deal issuance, including but not limited to SF REMIC, Strips, Credit Risk Transfer deals.
- Perform data analytics and critical reporting across mortgages, pools and CMO bonds.
- Participate in program and process optimization through AI powered business function automation.
- Maintain documentation on modeling procedures and business rules. Prepare for audit-proof transaction records.
- Support various departmental business management and reporting activities
- Provide analytical and operational support for special initiatives and one-time projects.
- Contribute to process improvements and reporting efficiencies where appropriate
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in applied mathematics, Financial Engineering, Data Science, Economics, Finance, or related fields.
- 1-2 years' Programming experience in SQL, Tableau, Python, or SAS.
- Exposure to AI powered tools such as Claudi models, Amazon Q Developer or Kiro.
- Highly proficient in use of MS Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
Keys to Success in this Role:- Exposure in cash flow modeling in Agency REMIC, CMBS, CMO and/or credit risk transfer transactions.
- Working knowledge of Intex applications (IntexCalc and DealMaker) or comparable cash flow modeling tools.

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $78,000 - $118,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
