Odyssey has an exciting new opportunity providing Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) supporting the US Space Force mission to defend National Security Interests in Space as a Space Domain Awareness (SDA) Radar Systems Acquisition Logistician providing support as a member of the Deep Space Advanced Radar Capability (DARC) program team in Space Systems Command (SSC), System Delta 85 (SYD 85).
SYD 85 is the U.S. Space Force organization responsible for developing and delivering resilient space capabilities supporting Battle Management, Command, Control, Communication, and Space Intelligence (BMC3I). SYD 85 synchronizes acquisition efforts for critical space system capabilities and works together with Combat Forces Command (CFC) Mission Deltas to improve mission readiness.
Odyssey Systems provides A&AS support to the Government in five areas: Product Support, Sustainment Engineering & Sustainment Management, Technical Order Management, Technical User Interface, and System Design, Engineering, and Integration. These tasks are executed laterally with USSF SSC/SZB depot and development contractors and with SDA stakeholders.
This is a full-time position at 2424 Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs, CO with the potential for 1-2 days of tele-work per week at the discretion of the government.
ResponsibilitiesAn A&AS contractor is a knowledgeable and trusted advisor to the Government Program Office. As an SDA Radar Systems Acquisition Logistician, you will support the Government Program Manager and provide Advisory and Assistance Services across a wide range of Integrated Logistical Support (ILS) tasks for the Ground Based Optical Sensor portfolio. Your Advisory Services to the Government include analyzing system technical characteristics and operational employment scenarios to ensure systems developed are operationally suitable and planning for, acquiring, or developing the full range of support items required to operate, maintain, and sustain complex systems. Systems Acquisition Logisticians plan for system maintenance, training support, supply support, tools and test equipment, technical data, and packaging, storage, handling, and transportation. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Citizenship: Must be a US citizen
Minimum Qualifications:
Clearance: Must hold an active Secret clearance, and be eligible to obtain a DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance
Education: High School Diploma
Years of Experience: 12 years of directly relevant experience with proper certifications, 5 of which must be in the DoD, OR,
Other Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications:
Clearance: Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance, agreeable to polygraph
Certifications: Defense Acquisition University (DAU), Department of Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Program Management, PMP, or equivalent
Additional Information:
Location: Work is performed at 2424 Garden of the Gods Road in Colorado Springs, CO.
Travel: Up to 15% to CONUS and OCONUS locations upon Government direction
Remote, Onsite, or Hybrid: Hybrid – potential for 1-2 days per week of tele-work at the discretion of the Government
