Overview

Influential is looking for a highly organized, execution-driven Project Manager / Scrum Master to support delivery across our Creator Commerce platform. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, brings structure to ambiguity, and is passionate about driving predicable, high-quality execution across product and engineering teams.

You will play a critical role in optimizing Agile processes, improving team velocity, and ensuring alignment across cross-functional stakeholders. A key focus of this role is owning and enhancing our Jira and Confluence environments to design efficient workflows, implementing automation, and leveraging AI to streamline reporting and improve operational visibility.

This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong program management fundamentals with a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

Agile Execution & Scrum Facilitation
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to ensure smooth sprint execution
  • Facilitate core Scrum Ceremonies:
    • Daily Standups
    • Sprint Planning
    • Retrospectives
    • Backlog grooming and refinement sessions
  • Ensure backlog readiness by making sure Product Backlog items are clearly defined,
  • estimated, and ready for upcoming sprints
  • Drive continuous improvement through actionable insights from retrospectives


Delivery Management & Accountability
  • Track feature progress and ensure timely delivery across sprints
  • Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies, and drive resolution
  • Communicate delays and changes in timelines clearly to stakeholders
  • Facilitate trade-off decisions (scope vs. Time vs. Quality) in alignment with Product


Resource & Capacity Planning
  • Assign resources in coordination with Engineering Leads
  • Track engineering workload and capacity across sprints and releases
  • Support forward-looking capacity planning and resource allocation


Performance Tracking & Reporting
  • Monitor and report on engineering performance metrics, including:
    • Sprint burndown
    • Cycle time
    • Throughput / velocity
  • Own status reporting for stakeholders and leadership
  • Ensure transparency into progress, risks, and delivery health


Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Coordinate dependencies across teams including Engineering, Infrastructure, QA, Legal,
  • and Marketing
  • Build and maintain project timelines across initiatives and dependencies
  • Manage release schedules and calendars


Tooling, Workflow Optimization & Automation
  • Own and continuously improve Jira and Confluence workflows
  • Set up and manage boards, tagging structures, dashboards, and reporting frameworks
  • Implement automation within Jira and Confluence to improve efficiency and reduce

Qualifications

  • 5-8+ years of experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Technical Program
  • Manager in a product-driven organization
  • Strong experience running Agile/Scrum processes with engineering and product teams
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Jira and Confluence, including workflow optimization, board setup, tagging, and automation
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to improve workflows, reporting, and team efficiency
  • Proven ability to track and improve delivery metrics (velocity, cycle time, throughput)
  • Strong organizational skills with experience working across cross-functional teams
  • Ability to proactively manage risks, dependencies, and competing priorities
  • Experience with release planning and coordinating complex, multi-team deliverables
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on executional excellent and continuous improvement

Compensation Range: USD $73,150.00 - USD $107,744.00/NA. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
