Job DescriptionTherapy Source is currently seeking a full-time
School Social Worker to provide in-person services for charter elementary and middle school students.
This position is for the upcoming school year.School Social Worker Salary: $45-$55 per hour
School Social Worker Schedule: - Hours are approximately 7:45am-4:00pm (Monday - Friday)
- Case management and school-based experience required
School Social Worker Qualifications: - Must have school certification in New Jersey
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
School Social Worker Responsibilities May Include: - Providing Behavioral Support Services
- Driving student achievement for students with disabilities
- Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data
- Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning
- Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills
- Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students
- Handling Medicare reimbursements
