Full Job Description
Help students build the skills they need to learn, participate, and thrive! Cross Country Education is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Waldorf, MD, to provide individualized therapy and collaborate with school teams and families to support students' independence, participation, and success.

Position Overview
  • Evaluate elementary students using formal and informal occupational therapy assessments to identify needs related to fine motor development, sensory processing, self-help skills, functional mobility, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop and implement individualized OT goals and services through the IEP/IFSP process, including determining appropriate therapy frequency, intensity, accommodations, and equipment needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, related-service providers, and school teams to support student participation, independence, and access to the educational environment.
  • Document evaluations, therapy progress, student data, and Medicaid billing while maintaining required records and meeting applicable service timelines.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or equivalent
  • Current Maryland Occupational Therapy License
  • Experience with school-based occupational therapy, including assessments, IEP development, multidisciplinary collaboration, family consultation, and Medicaid documentation preferred

  • Competitive Pay: Earn $48.20 - $49.20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications as an Occupational Therapist, with weekly pay and bonus opportunities.
