Occupational Therapist (OT) in
Waldorf, MD, to provide individualized therapy and collaborate with school teams and families to support students' independence, participation, and success.
Position Overview- Evaluate elementary students using formal and informal occupational therapy assessments to identify needs related to fine motor development, sensory processing, self-help skills, functional mobility, and activities of daily living.
- Develop and implement individualized OT goals and services through the IEP/IFSP process, including determining appropriate therapy frequency, intensity, accommodations, and equipment needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, related-service providers, and school teams to support student participation, independence, and access to the educational environment.
- Document evaluations, therapy progress, student data, and Medicaid billing while maintaining required records and meeting applicable service timelines.
Qualifications - Master's degree in Occupational Therapy (MOT) or equivalent
- Current Maryland Occupational Therapy License
- Experience with school-based occupational therapy, including assessments, IEP development, multidisciplinary collaboration, family consultation, and Medicaid documentation preferred
- Competitive Pay: Earn $48.20 - $49.20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications as an Occupational Therapist, with weekly pay and bonus opportunities.
