Help students find their voice and reach their potential! Join Cross Country Education as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Waldorf, MD, and help K-12 students build the communication skills they need to thrive academically and beyond.

Position Overview
  • Conduct speech-language screenings, comprehensive evaluations, and observations; interpret results and prepare timely evaluation reports and eligibility documentation.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor speech-language services and IEP goals aligned with students' academic, social, and functional communication needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, school psychologists, related-service providers, and multidisciplinary teams through consultations, IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and MTSS/RTI interventions.
  • Maintain accurate therapy, assessment, progress, and Medicaid documentation while managing student schedules, deadlines, and services across school settings.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC)
  • Experience providing school-based or pediatric speech-language services preferred, with strong skills in assessment, IEP development, and multidisciplinary collaboration
