Licensed PracticalNurse to provide in-person services for school students.
This position is for the current school year.Licensed Practical Nurse Pay Range: $30-$50 per hour
Licensed Practical Nurse Position Details: - Hours: 10AM-3PM Monday - Thursday and 10AM-2PM on Friday
- Assisting the school nurse with feeding, medication and suction support
- Caseload is students who are medically fragile and have multiple disabilities
Licensed Practical Nurse Qualifications: - Must have NY LPN Licensure
- Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances
- Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain.)
Licensed Practical Nurse Responsibilities May Include: - Supporting and evaluating primary and secondary students with IEPs
- Communicating to the internal team on the content of records and summarizing benefits
- Attending some evaluation meetings held Monday through Friday
- Access to personal fax machine/copier/scanner for transmission of confidential documents
