Full Job Description
As an SBA Business Development Officer, you'll build meaningful client relationships, develop SBA 7(a) lending opportunities, and deliver financing solutions that support local businesses and communities. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-focused banking professional who enjoys business development, credit analysis, and making a lasting impact.

In this role you'll

  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing small to mid-size business clients.
  • Actively market and originate SBA 7(a) lending opportunities.
  • Identify and develop new business relationships to grow your portfolio.
  • Prepare and present credit analyses and lending recommendations.
  • Structure, underwrite, and negotiate loan terms and conditions within delegated authority.
  • Perform credit reviews to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor and manage loan portfolio performance through ongoing reviews and analysis.
  • Represent the bank through community involvement and networking activities to increase awareness of our products and services.
  • Operate independently while managing lending opportunities and client relationships across assigned markets.


What we're looking for

  • You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required).
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • You have 4 or more years of experience in commercial credit and business development, including SBA lending (Required).

  • Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $98,035 - $110,000
