As an SBA Business Development Officer, you'll build meaningful client relationships, develop SBA 7(a) lending opportunities, and deliver financing solutions that support local businesses and communities. In this role you'll- Develop and manage relationships with new and existing small to mid-size business clients.
- Actively market and originate SBA 7(a) lending opportunities.
- Identify and develop new business relationships to grow your portfolio.
- Prepare and present credit analyses and lending recommendations.
- Structure, underwrite, and negotiate loan terms and conditions within delegated authority.
- Perform credit reviews to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and manage loan portfolio performance through ongoing reviews and analysis.
- Represent the bank through community involvement and networking activities to increase awareness of our products and services.
- Operate independently while managing lending opportunities and client relationships across assigned markets.
What we're looking for- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science, or a related field (Required).
- An equivalent combination of education and experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.
- You have 4 or more years of experience in commercial credit and business development, including SBA lending (Required).

Compensation & Benefits- Targeted starting salary range (based on experience): $98,035 - $110,000
