Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP & Cloud Integration Technical Lead to lead the architecture, design, development, and support of enterprise integrations across SAP revenue accounting, compliance, billing, middleware, and cloud platforms. In this role, you will provide hands-on technical leadership across SAP Document and Reporting Compliance, SAP Accounts Receivable, SAP Sales and Distribution, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Integration Suite, Java microservices, and Google Cloud Platform environments.

This role requires deep experience in enterprise integration, SAP technologies, cloud-native development, middleware, API design, security, DevSecOps, and production support. You will work closely with enterprise architects, SAP functional teams, finance and tax stakeholders, security teams, delivery partners, and global production-support organizations to deliver reusable, secure, and high-performing integration solutions.

Responsibilities include technical architecture, integration design, global-market implementation, performance optimization, automation, testing, production support, and engineering mentorship. By applying SAP Clean Core principles and common-core integration patterns, you will help reduce duplication, improve maintainability, and enable scalable global solutions for Ford's business operations.

Responsibilities

What you'll do...

Technical Leadership & Integration Architecture
  • Lead the architecture, design, development, implementation, and support of enterprise integrations across SAP IERP applications, middleware platforms, and cloud environments.
  • Define secure, scalable, resilient, and reusable integration patterns that support global business processes and future market implementations.
  • Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, technical working sessions, release planning, go-live activities, and post-launch stabilization.
  • Partner with enterprise architects, SAP functional teams, business stakeholders, security teams, testing teams, and delivery partners throughout the full product lifecycle.
  • Provide technical direction across multiple teams, global regions, and time zones.
  • Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing across SAP RAR, SAP DRC, SAP BTP, Zuora, GCP, middleware, testing, and production-support processes.
  • Apply SAP Clean Core principles, including the appropriate use of SAP BTP and side-by-side integration approaches.

SAP & Cloud Integration Development
  • Design and implement secure APIs and middleware services using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST, SOAP, OData, RFCs, BAPIs, IDocs, Kafka, and Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
  • Develop and support SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite solutions that connect SAP applications with external billing, compliance, tax, finance, and cloud services.
  • Design integration solutions that support SAP revenue accounting, accounts receivable, sales and distribution, regulatory compliance, invoicing, and related business processes.
  • Build reusable common-core integration designs for country and market implementations to reduce duplication, rework, operational complexity, and long-term maintenance.
  • Support integration with external enterprise systems, including billing, subscription, revenue, tax, finance, and compliance platforms.
  • Develop and maintain APIs, middleware workflows, message-processing services, batch integrations, and event-driven architectures.
  • Support platform migrations and modernization initiatives involving GCP, S3-to-GCS migration, Microsoft Entra ID, Apigee, GitHub, PAC, PCF, OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.

SAP Document & Reporting Compliance
  • Lead technical integration activities for SAP Document and Reporting Compliance implementations.
  • Support electronic invoicing, VAT reporting, statutory compliance, invoice validation, country-specific schema requirements, and related regulatory integration needs.
  • Develop DRC architecture and middleware solutions that support global-market requirements while maintaining common-core design standards.
  • Partner with SAP functional, tax, finance, legal, and compliance stakeholders to translate regulatory requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Support global DRC market implementations, testing, cutovers, production launches, and post-go-live stabilization.

Cloud Platform, Security & DevSecOps
  • Support and enhance Google Cloud Platform services, including Cloud Run, Cloud Run Jobs, Cloud Scheduler, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, Secret Manager, IAM, and Cloud Monitoring.
  • Design and support secure authentication and authorization patterns using OIDC, OAuth, JWT, Microsoft Entra ID, TLS/SSL, certificate management, and identity-access-management processes.
  • Develop and maintain secure CI/CD and DevSecOps practices using GitHub, PAC, Jenkins, TeamCity, Maven, Chef, SonarQube, Veracode, Cycode, and related tools.
  • Ensure integration solutions meet enterprise security, data-protection, compliance, auditing, and operational requirements.
  • Apply containerization and cloud-native practices using Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, PCF, and comparable platforms where appropriate.
  • Partner with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and platform teams to improve reliability, scalability, security, and operational readiness.

Performance, Automation & Production Support
  • Improve performance and reliability of SAP batch programs, IDoc processing, API services, middleware workflows, and high-volume revenue transactions.
  • Develop automation for reconciliation, data validation, error correction, failed-record reprocessing, alerting, and production-support activities.
  • Support ERF processing and improve resolution time for in-progress transactions, integration failures, and operational issues.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, logging, and observability capabilities using AppDynamics, Google Cloud Monitoring, logging platforms, email notifications, Microsoft Teams notifications, and related technologies.
  • Lead integration, regression, performance, and end-to-end testing using JUnit, JMeter, Karate, WireMock, TOSCA, and comparable test-automation tools.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for complex production incidents and implement corrective and preventative actions.
  • Support release management, production cutovers, go-live readiness, hypercare, and post-launch stabilization for global implementations.
  • Maintain clear and complete technical documentation, including solution designs, interface specifications, API contracts, operational procedures, monitoring standards, and support runbooks.
